• The Mediterranean Social Forum is a free space, open to reflection, the exchange of experiences and the organisation of actions among those who believe in the possibility of constructing another Mediterranean Region, less unequal and more supportive and sustainable, to construct Another World ( See Porto Alegre Chart of Principles ) .
  Therefore, it is fundamental that interested groups and individuals join this rich process of participation and meetings. We are all a part of the civil society, and the MedSF will be what we make of it and create between all of us. In this section you will find different ways to directly participate in the Forum:

  • Stall
  • as a volunteer
  • as a delegate/ visitor
  • as support/ support group
  • as an organisation
  • in Artistical and cultural activities
  • in activities (seminar/workshop)

  
  Stalls : Space to present/display your publications and materials. The predicted measures are of 4 meters in length with a width of 2 meters. It is possible to reserve half of that standard space (2 meters in length). form of stall reserve

  • Rent stalls: 300 € ( standard module )
  
  The Volunteer: Such an event is only possible thanks to a generous collective effort, the setting up of cooperation networks and the immeasurable collaboration of hundreds of companions who are able to add their little touch by being selfless and volunteering.
  In order for everything to work out the best way possible, we need people to support us in different areas:
  • Propaganda / Publicising the event / Information Points / Organisation / Infrastructure and setting up of the event / Concerts / helping provide accommodation / and others

  Delegate /Visitor: The Mediterranean Social Forum is an open space for the participation of all citizens, whether members of an organization (delegated) or not (visitor). Those who fit in the category of Delegates or Visitor and wish to participate must to fill out the registration form to obtain a special accreditation. Form for Delegates/Visitors

  Quotas of individual inscription :
  • Students, unemployed and participants of the South shore: 10€
  • Workers with inferior income to 1200 €: 20€
  • Rest participants: 30 €
  • Inscription organizations (1 participant included): 50€

  
  Support/Support group: When we were thinking about organising this Forum, we knew that a major challenge ahead of us: for it really to reach all parts of the Mediterranean area. This requires an enormous effort to make the initiative well known and to collect opinions and suggestions from all its regions.
  Just as importantly, it requires all the financial/voluntary/material support possible to maintain financial independence in the creation of the forum. Form for support/support group

  
  The Organisation: We think it is extremely important to consolidate the groups that are expanding across the area. This is refering to the movements or organisations wishing to form an organisational group to collaborate in the creation of this incredible project lying before us.
  The organisational groups will be responsible for the distribution of information and propaganda in their area, the collection of opinions about the main themes affecting their population, the organisation of different activities that may help to spread the initiative and to motivate the people from the various regions to participate in this process, as well as in the internal debates (Preparatory assemblies, international coordination, etc.) to take the necessary decisions.
